ExHIBITION MÉTAMORPHOSES

FROM 14 SEPTEMBER 2012 TO 31 MARCH 2013

Heritage pieces and contemporary creations converse on the theme of metamorphosis: metamorphosis of the look borne on cultures, of raw materials, of decor techniques, of the geopolitical world, of the individual.
With choices of textile creations that are revealing of universes, of different meanings, of strong personalities, the exhibition offers a sensitive experience which can lead us to renew our vision of the world and of people.
At the heart of the International Festival of Extra ordinary Textiles, the exhibition Métamorphoses received the National Interest Label from the Ministry of Culture and Communication/Direction générale des patrimonies/Service des musées de France.
